Edward C. Wachter, Jr., Esquire
As a practicing attorney in the City of Pittsburgh, Edward C. Wachter, Jr., Esquire is a partner in the law firm of McCann Garland Ridall & Burke. His practice involves the representation of many businesses of all sizes and types, in the information, operation and transfer. Mr. Wachter also works as an advisor to many family businesses. His practice also involves estate planning and estate administration which includes the preparing of wills and trusts and other related documents and the administration of probate and trust estates. He also works extensively with family businesses. Mr. Wachter received his B.A. degree from the Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University Law School in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Wachter is very active in assisting small businesses. He speaks on a frequent basis to various groups including those attending the SCORE lectures on the topic of the "Legal Aspects of Starting a New Business." Mr. Wachter is also a Professor of Business Law at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he teaches principally Business Law courses.
